The festival held in May. Pilots from across the U.S will join the event. The festival covers balloon glows Friday and Saturday night, arts and crafts vendors, carnival rides, the world-famous Disc-connected K-9’s Frisbee dog show, and fabulous food and entertainment. The festival spots, located at 210 Cater Lee Way in Foley, are open Friday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. And Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

3. Druid City Arts festival
This event’s goal is to present quality art and music festival, which strengthens Tuscaloosa as a destination market for the art tours, while also educating, inspiring, and engaging youth and adults about the kindnesses and arts within the community. The first DCAF took place in 2010 and has advanced since then. In 2019, 90 vendors advertised their art to a record crowd over 12,000.
4. Mercedes Marathon
The Marathon takes place on the second weekend in February. It has become a Birmingham culture that has supported raise millions of dollars for local funds. Stop by the Health and Fitness Expo, which is free and open to the people. There’s something for everyone throughout the weekend of the Mercedes Marathon.
